1. Definitions

  • Courier: An independent third-party delivery personnel.
  • Order: The information submitted on the platform for the provision of our Services.
  • "Tinty Courier & Logistics" refers to the company, its affiliates, employees, and representatives.
  • Pickup Party: The individual or entity from whom the courier collects packages from a specified location through Tinty Courier & Logistics's platform.
  • Receiving Party: The individual or entity that receives packages through Tinty Courier & Logistics's platform.
  • Ordered by: The individual or entity responsible for placing an order through Tinty Courier & Logistics's platform.

2. Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction. Users must provide accurate and complete registration details.

3. Account Registration

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for promptly notifying the company of any unauthorized use or breach of security.

4. Orders and Payment

Users agree to provide accurate delivery details and pay all applicable fees using approved payment methods.

Payments must be completed before dispatch unless otherwise agreed, or upon delivery.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

Orders may be canceled within a specified time frame.

Refunds, where applicable, are subject to the company's refund policy and will be processed within three (3) working days.

6. Prohibited Activities

Users agree not to use the services for unlawful purposes, to transport prohibited items, or to engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the integrity of the company's operations or platform.

7. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, designs, and content on the platforms are the exclusive property of "Tinty Courier & Logistics". Unauthorized reproduction, use, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

"Tinty Courier & Logistics" shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or delay caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to accidents, traffic, weather, or natural disasters.

9. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold "Tinty Courier & Logistics" harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their use of services or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

The company reserves the right to suspend or terminate user access to its services at any time for violations of these Terms or for conduct deemed harmful to its operations or reputation.

11. Disclaimer — Lost or Damaged Parcels

This section outlines the company's liability regarding lost or destroyed parcels:

  • Undeclared Items: If the value of the parcel is not declared and it is lost or destroyed, the company's liability is capped at 20 times the courier service charge.
  • Declared Items: If the value of the parcel is declared and it is lost or destroyed, the company's liability is limited to a maximum of 50% of the declared value.

12. Changes to Terms

The company may update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting on the website. Continued use of services indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with Ghanaian law and applicable local regulations.
